Utah State University is recruiting a highly motivated PhD student to join the research group of Srishti Banerji , Assistant Professor of Structural Engineering. The project focuses on concrete materials and structural systems , with an emphasis on experimental research in a laboratory setting. Research activities may include preparing and casting concrete mixtures, conducting standard material characterization tests, and participating in larger-scale experimental structural testing programs. The post specifically highlights interest in applicants with experience in the experimental evaluation of ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) . This is a PhD opening beginning in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 . Applicants must hold a thesis-based M.S. degree in Civil Engineering .
