Dr. Tara Heagele is an Assistant Professor at Hunter College in the United States. Her research focuses on disaster preparedness, particularly in relation to health disparities and community interventions. Recent publications include studies on enhancing disaster preparedness for individuals with sickle cell disease and evaluating the effectiveness of preparedness interventions among Korean-speaking communities. Dr. Heagele's work aims to promote health equity through innovative nursing approaches and community engagement.
