Tetsuro Maeda

Dr. Tetsuro Maeda is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA. His research areas include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), respiratory infections, and cardiac comorbidities, as evidenced by his recent publications on the etiology of respiratory infections in hospitalized patients and the relationship between COPD and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Maeda is also involved in exploring the implications of tuberculosis screening for patients on biologic medications.
