Professor Tikou Belem is a Full Professor at l’Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue in Canada. His research focuses on the utilization of waste materials in construction, including supplementary cementitious materials and mine site reclamation techniques. Recent publications cover diverse topics such as rheological properties of cemented paste backfills and the geological characterization of phosphate mine waste. He also explores optimization in directed energy deposition and the modeling of groundwater and geochemical transport, contributing significantly to sustainable mining practices.
