Postdoc in genomics

The Swedish National Genomics Infrastructure at KTH Royal Institute of Technology is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher for a genomics project focused on the links between gene regulatory variants, chromatin organization, and transcription. The position sits at the interface of the National Genomics Infrastructure and the research groups of Professor Tuuli Lappalainen and Associate Professor Robert Månsson. The research environment brings together state-of-the-art genomics platforms, internationally leading expertise in functional genomics, molecular biology, and experimental hematology. The project combines hands-on genomics, technology development, and computational biology. It is particularly well suited to candidates with experience in genomics, molecular or cell biology, genetics, and large-scale genomics data analysis. This is a full-time temporary postdoctoral appointment for up to three years at KTH in Stockholm, Sweden. The role is intended as a first career step after a dissertation and is described as a time-limited qualified appointment focusing mainly on research. Eligibility requires a doctoral degree or equivalent foreign degree by the time the employment decision is made. Preferred qualifications include a PhD obtained within the last three years, teaching ability, and awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, especially gender equality. Strong collaboration, independence, and scientific communication skills are highlighted as important. Applicants must apply via KTH's recruitment system. The application should include a CV with relevant professional experience and knowledge, as well as a brief statement describing research motivation, academic interests, and how these relate to previous studies and future goals. The deadline for complete applications is 2026-08-20 at 23:59 Stockholm time.
