About
Una Murray is the Director of the MA in International Development Practice and a lecturer at Ollscoil na Gaillimhe – University of Galway, Ireland. Her research focuses on the intersections of climate change, migration, social protection, and community development, as reflected in her recent works on youth mobility and social assistance programs in Zimbabwe. She explores innovative approaches such as design thinking to enhance the interaction between informal and formal social protection systems, and addresses gender disparities in agroforestry knowledge within climate-smart agriculture.
