Unax Lertxundi is the Chief Pharmacist at Bioaraba Health Research Institute and the Osakidetza Basque Health Service, located in the Araba Mental Health Network, Araba Psychiatric Hospital, Spain. His research primarily focuses on the environmental impact of pharmaceuticals, psychopharmacotherapy, and pharmacovigilance, as evidenced by his recent publications analyzing antipsychotic medications, wastewater-based epidemiology, and the incorporation of One Health principles into pharmacist training. Lertxundi is actively engaged in exploring the public health implications of medication use in psychiatric settings and the environmental ramifications of pharmaceutical waste.
