Utai Uprasen is a Professor at Pukyong National University in South Korea. His research interests encompass the economic implications of remittances, foreign direct investment, and energy consumption, particularly their impact on ecological footprints across various regions, including Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Professor Uprasen has recently published articles that assess the relationships between logistics performance and environmental sustainability, financial development, and capital inflows, as well as the effects of tourism on carbon emissions.
