The Halin lab at ETH Zurich is seeking a highly motivated PhD student to investigate the Glycobiology of Lymphatic Vessels. This research will focus on understanding how protein-bound carbohydrates shape the glycocalyx of lymphatic endothelial cells and influence their interactions with immune cells. The project will utilize advanced techniques such as mass spectrometry, FACS, and electrophoresis to analyze the glycocalyx and study immune cell interactions both in lymph node tissues and in vitro. Applicants should hold a Master's degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
