Waldemar Mironiuk is an Associate Professor at the Polish Naval Academy in Poland. His research focuses on the use of passive measurement systems for object detection in aquatic environments, as well as the efficiency, ecology, and safety of inland waterway vessel propulsion. Additionally, he investigates emergency propulsion systems for vessels and studies the effects of constant heel on vessel circulation using model investigations.
