Fully funded PhD opportunity at the National University of Singapore in the Dynamic Catalysis and Electrosynthesis Group within the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. The project focuses on electrosynthesis and the electrification of chemical processes , with possible directions in organic electrosynthesis , electrochemical C–N/C–C bond formation , electrochemical decarbonization , and sustainable production of fuels and chemicals. Ideal applicants have a strong foundation in electrochemistry and organic chemistry , with hands-on experience in organic synthesis or organic electrosynthesis preferred. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is expected. If your prior degree was not taught in English, TOEFL iBT or IELTS Academic is required as stated in the post. Funding is provided through the NUS Research Scholarship , including full tuition coverage, a competitive monthly stipend, and up to 4 years of PhD support.
