Fully funded PhD positions in Medical Robotics are available in the Dong Lab at Vanderbilt University . The lab is recruiting highly motivated PhD students to work on next-generation medical robots and intelligent medical devices. Research areas include miniature medical robots , magnetic robotics , intelligent implantable devices , surgical and soft robotics , wearable and implantable sensors , and image-guided robotic systems . Students with experience in robotics and control , mechatronics , magnetic actuation and tracking , flexible electronics , smart materials , implantable devices , or translational research are especially encouraged to apply.
