Immediate postdoctoral opening in power electronics and power systems at Purdue University with Prof. Xiaonan Lu. The project focuses on cutting-edge research in physics-based and data-driven dynamic modeling and control of grid-interactive power electronic inverters and inverter systems. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a broad network of academic and industry partners and contribute to research that combines modeling, control, simulation, and experimental validation. Strong experience in MATLAB/Simulink , Python , and related coding environments is expected, and familiarity with PSS®E , PSCAD , and hardware experimental testing is highly desirable. Eligibility highlights: a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a closely related field, a strong background in power electronics/power systems, a strong publication record, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
