Postdoctoral Researcher in Plant Systems Biology and Epigenomics

Purdue University’s Li Lab is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher in Plant Systems Biology and Epigenomics . The position is based in the lab of Ying Li , Associate Professor at Purdue University, and focuses on interdisciplinary training in plant functional genomics , systems biology , and chromatin regulation in crop species. The successful candidate will lead projects characterizing dynamic chromatin regulation using molecular genetics and functional genomics approaches. The role may also involve related work in single-cell omics and large language model-enabled functional genomics . The lab is especially interested in plant scientists who combine wet-lab and dry-lab strengths, including molecular biology and bioinformatics. Eligibility highlights: a PhD in genetics, genomics, biology, plant sciences, or a related field; at least four years of combined wet-lab and dry-lab experience related to plant molecular biology. Preferred experience includes plant functional genomics, gene regulation, epigenetics, specialized metabolism, next-generation sequencing analysis, R/Python/Perl, plant transformation, CRISPR-based genome editing, and protein techniques such as immunoprecipitation. How to apply: Email [email protected] with a one-page cover letter, CV, and the contacts of three references. Use the subject line [Postdoc_application] Full name .
