About
Yoshihiro Kushida is an Assistant Professor at Tohoku University in Japan. His research focuses on the therapeutic potential of human multilineage-differentiating stress-enduring (Muse) cells, particularly in the context of neuronal and vascular repair. Recent studies include investigations on Muse cells for treatment of erectile dysfunction following nerve injury and restoring blood flow in models of ischemia. He also explores the pluripotent-like characteristics and differentiation mechanisms of these cells to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
