Professor Yosuke Matsuda is a faculty member at Mie University in Japan. His research focuses on soil ecology, particularly in relation to organic matter decomposition, microbial community dynamics, and the ecological interactions of plant and soil organisms. Recent publications include studies on the effects of soil acidity on decomposition processes and the role of ectomycorrhizal fungi in soil nematode community structuring. He is actively contributing to the understanding of the interactions between vegetation and soil ecosystems in East Asia.
