About
Professor Øyvind Halskau is a faculty member at the University of Bergen in Norway. His research focuses on the structural and functional analysis of proteins, including honey bee vitellogenin, as well as the interactions of lipid membranes with bioactive metabolites and peptides. Recent work includes investigating anti-icing properties of polar bear fur and the lipid profiles of neoplastic cell lines. He employs advanced techniques such as Cryo-EM and solid-state NMR in his studies.
