📢 The National University of Singapore is hiring postdoctoral researchers and welcoming applications for fully funded PhD positions in the group of Zhe Wu (Assistant Professor, NUS). The openings are centered on chemical engineering and process systems engineering , with research directions including chemical process modeling for electrochemical surface engineering processes and pharmaceutical crystallization, dynamic/data-driven modeling , optimization , techno-economic analysis (TEA) , life-cycle assessment (LCA) , and control theory and applications such as nonlinear systems, MPC, reinforcement learning, and stability analysis. For postdoctoral applicants, the post highlights the need for strong math , modeling , programming , and scientific writing skills, plus prior experience in one or more of the listed areas. For PhD applicants, relevant backgrounds in control/automation , chemical engineering , or systems engineering are preferred. The PhD intake is for August 2027 and is described as fully funded .
