Postdoctoral Researcher opportunity in Digital Agriculture at the University of Wisconsin–Madison , within the Digital Agriculture Research Lab in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering. The project is focused on remote sensing , precision agriculture , crop yield prediction , deep learning , crop modeling , and hybrid modeling that combines crop models with machine learning. The postdoc will work on predicting crop yield at both regional (county) and field scales using satellite remote sensing data and advanced predictive modeling. This is an interdisciplinary research environment with opportunities to collaborate with researchers from diverse backgrounds. The position is supervised by Associate Professor Zhou Zhang in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
