Shenzhen University’s School of Biomedical Engineering in Shenzhen, China, is hiring one Associate Research Fellow and one to two Postdoctoral Research Fellows to join the ZidaLab, led by Associate Professor Zida Li. The group develops innovative technologies for biomedical analysis at the interface of engineering, biology, and medicine. Research areas include microfluidics, molecular diagnostics, biosensing, bioanalytical chemistry, single-cell technologies, molecular and cell biology, biomaterials, biomedical instrumentation, micro/nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and bioinformatics. The group’s work has been published in journals including PNAS, Advanced Science, Lab on a Chip, and Analytical Chemistry. Associate Research Fellow applicants need a PhD in a relevant discipline, with postdoctoral experience preferred; exceptional recent PhD graduates may also be considered. A publication record and ability to conduct independent research are required. Postdoctoral applicants must have completed or be nearing completion of a PhD, demonstrate research potential and publications, and possess strong motivation, scientific curiosity, and collaborative skills. The indicative annual pre-tax salary for the Associate Research Fellow role is RMB 290,000–380,000. Postdoctoral compensation starts at approximately RMB 330,000 annually.
