University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG) and the University of Geneva (UNIGE), in collaboration with EPFL, are recruiting a Post-doctoral Researcher / Advanced Research Scientist for a 4-year FNS-funded multidisciplinary project . The project focuses on smart therapeutic footwear and intelligent foot pressure off-loading to help prevent diabetic foot ulcers and reduce the risk of lower-limb amputations . This is a strong fit for candidates interested in biomechanics , diabetes , clinical research , and medical innovation . The post is based at the Unit of Therapeutic Patient Education at HUG / Faculté de médecine - UNIGE. A valid Swiss work permit would be an advantage because of time-sensitive hiring needs.
