The project sits at the intersection of power systems , load flexibility , extreme weather resilience , and data center/grid interactions. The selected student will work on technically deep, impactful, and forward-looking research with strong emphasis on Julia , Python , tool development, high-performance computing, large-scale numerical simulation, resilience modeling, and possibly hardware-in-the-loop simulation. Experience with OPAL-RT simulator testbeds is especially valued. This is a PhD opening at Colorado State University in the United States.
