About this position
Banca d’Italia is offering the Bonaldo Stringher scholarship for postgraduate study abroad in economics and economic policy. The award supports study at a foreign university and is designed for high-achieving graduates whose academic profile and research interests align with this field.
The scholarship provides funding for an academic year of at least nine months, and recipients may apply for a second year if their academic performance is satisfactory. The award also covers tuition fees charged by the foreign university and any termly fees, subject to supporting documents. In addition, the scholarship may lead to further opportunities at the Bank: the winners and top runners-up may later be selected for a paid research placement and may sit an examination for a permanent expert position.
This is a competitive national scholarship with only three awards made each year. The programme is centred on economics and economic policy and is intended for students planning to pursue advanced study abroad at a suitable foreign university.
