EcoMod

EcoMod Network is offering limited partial scholarships for the EcoMod School of Modeling and Data Science in Prague, Czech Republic, running June 29, 2026 to July 3, 2026. This is a 5-day intensive, hands-on summer school for economists, researchers, and policy professionals who want to strengthen practical skills in economic modeling, data science, forecasting, and policy analysis.

The program covers a wide range of research-oriented topics, including general equilibrium modeling, DSGE modeling, macroeconometric modeling, energy and environmental CGE, global VAR, financial social accounting matrices, and computational methods using GAMS, Matlab, Python, and EViews. It is designed for participants interested in policy-relevant analysis, scenario analysis, impact analysis, and projections.

Eligible applicants include master’s students, PhD candidates, early-career economists, researchers in macro, development, or policy, and professionals in central banks, ministries, or international organizations. EcoMod states that it welcomes applicants of all genders and nationalities. The scholarship is partial rather than full funding.

Deadline: scholarship applications close on May 10, 2026. Early registration discounts for the school are available until May 22, 2026. The fee-based registration includes course materials, lectures, coffee breaks, lunch, a social reception, and a celebratory dinner.
