About this position
School of Higher Studies "Giacomo Leopardi" at the University of Macerata offers a competitive fee exemption and student support package for students admitted to the School of Advanced Studies. The scheme is integrated into the university experience and combines financial relief with accommodation, meals, and academic enrichment.
Successful students are enrolled at the University of Macerata while benefiting from the School’s special status. The award includes automatic waiver of the annual enrolment fee and the additional e-learning fee for as long as the student remains enrolled. In addition, students receive free accommodation in the Matteo Ricci-Li Madou student hall of residence, with single or twin rooms and shared study and living facilities, and free meals in the canteen at lunchtime and in the evening.
Alongside the financial benefits, students are assigned a personal academic tutor and gain access to the university’s own seminars and courses. On completion of the programme, they receive their standard degree from the University of Macerata plus a faculty diploma equivalent to a second-cycle Master’s degree.
The opportunity is open across disciplines, grouped into humanities and social sciences, and is structured as a first-year track and a master's track within the School’s competitive admissions process.
