The Microsoft Cybersecurity Scholarship Program, in partnership with the Last Mile Education Fund, offers $500 cash assistance to students pursuing careers in cybersecurity and AI at U.S. community colleges and technical schools. This scholarship is designed to support students with financial need, with no GPA requirements or complicated barriers. Funds can be used for tuition, certification exam costs, laptops, groceries, rent, utilities, unexpected medical bills, books, meal plans, and other career-building opportunities. Additional perks include a free 1-year LinkedIn Premium subscription, free membership to the Global Mentors Initiative, and free GitHub Global Campus Student Developer Tools.

Eligibility requires U.S. residency and current enrollment in a cybersecurity-related program at a two-year institution. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by providing proof of Pell Grant eligibility or financial aid. The program aims to empower students in tech and cybersecurity, making it accessible and impactful for those who truly need support.
