About this position
The NatureNet Science Fellows Program is a fellowship scheme from The Nature Conservancy that supports interdisciplinary conservation science in partnership with a rotating set of leading universities. Fellows develop a research program with a Nature Conservancy mentor and one or more hosting senior scholars, combining university-based support with direct engagement in applied conservation.
The program is designed to build new science talent for conservation work through a joint mentorship model. Fellows and grantees are embedded in TNC networks, where they can pursue fundamental research questions while contributing to real-world conservation practice.
The opening is framed around life sciences and biodiversity-related research, with an emphasis on ecology and evolutionary biology and other life sciences. It is a research fellowship within a broader conservation science environment rather than a single-lab PhD project.
