MuSkLE Graduate Plus Excellence Doctoral Scholarship

The Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, in collaboration with Hospices Civils de Lyon and the Graduate Plus initiative, is offering a PhD position focused on muscle repair in myositis within the interdisciplinary MuSkLE Graduate Programme. This opportunity is part of the MuSkLE Graduate Plus Excellence Doctoral Scholarship, designed to support outstanding international students interested in translational research on the musculoskeletal system.

The program is supported by the French National Research Agency and brings together four French higher education institutions, offering immersive research training and scholarships for international mobility. The PhD project will be based in Lyon, France, and is open to candidates with a strong academic background in biomedical science or related fields. The research will be conducted within the Graduate Initiative MuSkLE teams, with possible collaboration across multiple research units and hosting laboratories.

Applicants must hold a Master's degree in a relevant field and be foreign students (dual citizenship accepted).
