This PhD will develop advanced methods to improve the reliability of carbon assessments in water infrastructure systems and contribute to net-zero infrastructure and real-world carbon reduction strategies. The research environment is strongly industry-linked and aims to produce research graduates with practical and methodological expertise.

Funding: full scholarship including tuition fee coverage plus a tax-free stipend of AUD 39,206 per year for 3.5 years.

Eligibility / preferred background: Civil, Environmental, or Infrastructure Engineering; Sustainability; LCA; Environmental Science. Useful skills include data analysis, modelling, statistics, uncertainty analysis, academic writing, and communication. Applicants should be highly motivated, independent, and research-oriented.
