About this position
I am excited and grateful to announce that I have started (this fall) as an assistant professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A and M University. I have multiple positions for hiring PhD students in the area of computational gas dynamics, with a focus on high-speed flows. More specifically, in understanding fundamental aspects of high temperature reactions, and non equilibrium fluid mechanics. We will develop and utilize computational and theoretical tools (CFD, DSMC, ML-based methods, MD, and computational quantum chemistry). If you have undergraduate or masters in engineering, physics or chemistry, and interest in pursuing PhD, please reach out. More details later.…more
