Minimum qualifications include a PhD in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline by the date of appointment, plus the ability to present and publish research results, secure extramural funding, demonstrate relevant teaching experience, and communicate effectively. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Midwest or Great Plains agricultural production practices, experience in bioprocessing and bioproducts research, and the ability or potential to mentor graduate students.
Funding and benefits include a minimum salary of $90,000 at the Assistant Professor rank, with salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, flexible benefits, retirement plans, paid holidays, vacation leave, sick leave, training, tuition support for state-sponsored courses, and relocation benefits.
