The post also highlights work in the Raven Precision Agriculture Center and scale-up using commercial facilities in the Bioproducts Institute. Responsibilities are approximately 12% teaching and 88% research, including Agricultural Experiment Station responsibilities. The department emphasizes collaboration with faculty, staff, campus institutes, government agencies, commodity associations, granting agencies, and other universities. Minimum qualifications include a PhD in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline by the date of appointment, plus the ability to present and publish research results, secure extramural funding, demonstrate relevant teaching experience, and communicate effectively.
