Aalto University School of Engineering is inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in Geoinformatics, with a focus on photogrammetry and laser scanning. The group conducts multidisciplinary research spanning built and natural environments, including geodesy, spatial data science, and remote sensing. The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., engineering, physics, geoinformatics), strong expertise in quantitative methods in photogrammetry and laser scanning, and a record of high-quality scientific publications. Additional preferred qualifications include independent scientific thinking, experience in acquiring research funding, working across research environments, industry collaboration, a strong academic network, scientific awards, teaching experience, and thesis supervision. Excellent command of English is required, and learning Finnish or Swedish is encouraged.
