One fully funded PhD position is available in the fields of distributed machine learning, secure and sustainable edge computing, energy-efficient computing, and next-generation wireless networks. The successful candidate will be expected to join the PhD program in Computational Science at Middle Tennessee State University starting in Spring 2025.Key Criteria for Selection:1. A BS or MS degree in Computer Science (CS), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline. 2. Preference will be given to candidates with an MS degree.3. A strong foundation in mathematics and programming is essential.4. Proficiency in key areas such as: - Data Structures - Algorithms - Optimization Theory (Preferable)5.
