As a # SciLifeLab and Knut och Alice Wallenbergs Stiftelse National Fellow in Data-Driven Life Science (DDLS) for Precision Medicine and Diagnostics, my team will investigate how the tumor microbiome influences cancer progression and patient outcomes, with a vision of understanding whether it’s a key component of the tumor microenvironment linked to disease progression.
Our goal is to build adaptable prediction models to inform personalized cancer treatments through a multi-omics, data-driven approach.
I’ll be recruiting two # PhD students and two # postdocs trainees with expertise in bioinformatics, computational biology, and related fields. These positions will be announced in early 2025. Master’s students looking for impactful projects (with the possibility of extending into a PhD) are also encouraged to reach out.
If you’re interested about cancer research, the microbiome, data driven research and precision medicine, please send your CV and a brief description of your experience, and let’s discuss how you could be part of this journey.
Looking forward to collaborating with the scientific community both here in Sweden and internationally.
