About this position

To all my connections – PhD Collaboration Opportunity

I’m currently seeking a partner for a Doctoral Landscape Award (DLA) PhD position in the areas of mechanics of materials and additive manufacturing.

This is a fully funded PhD supported by the EPARC DLA scheme in collaboration with the NMIS. It covers home tuition fees, a stipend, and includes £3,500 per year for consumables.

I’m open to developing this project through collaborative models:

From industry: I’d be excited to co-design a joint PhD project tackling real-world challenges with strong industrial relevance.
From academia: A joint PhD with another institution could enhance research links and enable shared supervision, facilities, and expertise.

If you're active in these fields or know of any potential collaborators, I’d love to connect and explore opportunities to build something meaningful together.
