About this position


Exciting PhD opportunity with us at the School of GeoSciences on Quantifying the potential of CO2 mineralisation in UK reactive rock formations, CASE supported by The Carbon Removers .

This project will use a novel x-ray transparent environmental cell to identify how age and alteration state affects the rate and capacity of CO2 fixation in altered reactive rocks from the UK. This will generate new knowledge to assist with engineering secure CO2 storage in reactive formations.

Funding details

Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
