PhD Positions in Mechanical Engineering. I am looking for two PhD students in Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University starting in Spring or Fall 2025. My research focuses on thermal-fluids experiments, simulations, and modeling in nuclear energy, space explorations, energy conversion, and power systems, specifically in the areas of reactor thermal dynamics, multiphase flow and heat transfer, phase change phenomena (boiling & cavitation), cryogenics fluids, and advanced instrumentation development.Requirements: •  Hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field. •   Completed courses in Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and Thermodynamics. •    Preference will be given to candidates with experience in heat transfer and fluid flow experiments and CFD simulations. •      For other requirements, please refer to the Graduate School: https://lnkd.in/ePFqN3jeIf interested, please send your CV and transcripts to my email [email protected].…more
