The Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford is seeking a full-time PA and Research Group Administrator to join the CHI lab at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME). This professional staff role is designed to provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Professor of Clinical Machine Learning, Professor David Clifton, and other academic members of the Digital Health Group. The position is permanent and full-time, with part-time applications (minimum 30 hours per week) also considered. The salary is Grade 6, ranging from £35,681 to £41,636 per annum.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic research environment, assisting in the coordination of academic research, leadership, and administrative responsibilities for the group. Duties include supporting Professor Clifton in his academic and external roles, such as advisory boards and industrial collaborations, as well as contributing to the wider administrative team at IBME. The role requires proven experience supporting senior staff, exceptional organizational and diary management skills, experience with complex meeting and travel arrangements, and outstanding communication abilities. Familiarity with financial systems like Oracle Financials is a plus.
