Join this exciting, funded PhD project to develop organ-on-chip models replicating human barriers to study the effect of long-acting therapeutics (LATs), providing valuable insights into drug transport and reducing reliance on animal testing.
?? What You'll Gain:
-Expertise in advanced techniques like fabricating and characterizing long-acting therapeutics, fluidic models, cell culture, flow cytometry, TEER, confocal microscopy, etc.
-Skills in barrier integrity testing, data analysis, and project management.
-Preparation for a successful career in academia or industry.
Eligibility:
?? Applicants are expected to hold a minimum upper second-class undergraduate honors degree (or equivalent) in material science, nanomedicine, biomedical engineering, pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, or a relevant area. Experience in organ-on-chip models and cell culture is desirable.
