About this position

Toronto Metropolitan University’s ELIXIR Lab (Embodied Learning and Intelligence for eXploration and Innovative Soft Robotics) is recruiting for PhD and postdoctoral positions through the Canada Impact+ Research Training Awards (CIRTA).

The lab works in robotics, mechatronics, embodied AI, soft and bio-inspired robotics, learning-based and geometric control, autonomous aerial and space systems, and human-centered robotics. This is a strong fit for candidates interested in intelligent, resilient robotic systems and adaptive robotic intelligence.

Funding: PhD positions are funded at $55K/year for up to 3 years, and postdoctoral positions are funded at $90K/year for up to 2 years. The post is explicitly CIRTA-funded.
