About this position

Responsibilities include integrating multiple data sources into a comprehensive population model, coordinating fawn captures and capture crews, managing communication across partner institutions and Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, and publishing/disseminating results for academic and public audiences. The project will also produce a user-friendly modeling tool for annual updates by TPWD biologists.

Eligibility highlights: applicants should hold an MS in Wildlife Science, Natural Resource Management, Quantitative Ecology, or a closely related field, and have basic statistical modelling skills (e.g. GLMs), strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
