About this position

PhD Position: Generative Modelling in Biomedical Imaging at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, Brno, Czechia.

This funded PhD project is hosted by the Centre for Biomedical Image Analysis (CBIA) and focuses on generative modelling, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, data science, and biomedical imaging. Experience in biomedical imaging is welcome but not required. Preferred extras include publication or open-source experience, plus C++, GPU, or HPC skills.

What's required

Applicants should have an MSc in computer science, applied mathematics, or image processing. A strong background in deep learning or machine learning is required, along with programming skills in Python and preferably PyTorch or TensorFlow. A solid mathematical foundation is expected. Experience in biomedical imaging or medical image analysis is preferred but not required; C++, GPU, HPC, publication, or open-source experience is also preferred.
