Interdisciplinary projects may connect with comparative literature, film studies, translation studies, language education, or applied linguistics.

Required materials include a personal statement, detailed research proposal, approximately 3,000 words of written work, degree certificates and transcripts, two references, and evidence of English-language proficiency. There is no application fee.
The deadline for the 13 September 2027 start is 30 June 2027. A further deadline of 31 October 2027 applies to the 12 January 2028 start.
