PhD opportunity in Public Health at the University of Liège (Belgium)
A full-time PhD position is available in an ambitious European research project on osteoarthritis care pathways. The project is hosted at the University of Liège and focuses on comparing healthcare pathways across European healthcare systems, identifying best practices, and contributing to the design, implementation, and evaluation of an innovative European care pathway.
The position is especially suited to candidates with a strong Public Health profile and interests in epidemiology, health services research, health policy, implementation science, integrated care, digital health, and data analysis/statistics. Mixed-methods experience is particularly welcome. The work will be carried out within a multidisciplinary European consortium involving academic, clinical, healthcare, and patient partners from several countries.

What's required
Master’s degree in Public Health is mandatory. Candidates should have an excellent academic record, strong analytical and organizational skills, autonomy, scientific rigor, initiative, ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary team, and excellent written and spoken English. Strong interest or experience in public health, epidemiology, health services or clinical research, healthcare systems and policy, quantitative and qualitative methods, mixed-methods research, data analysis and statistical methods, implementation science, integrated and community-based care, and digital health/eHealth is preferred.
