About this position

We have been researching hotspot detection using acoustic waves for temperature monitoring of electronics for a few years. We are looking for a PhD candidate to work on this idea and extend it more in the direction of prediction and using machine learning.

What's required

Applicants should hold a first-class or upper second-class degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a closely related discipline. Familiarity with simulation tools such as COMSOL and programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB) are advantageous. Good written and spoken English is required. Motivation for research in temperature monitoring and predictive maintenance is expected.
