About this position

PhD Positions Open [Kadir Has University, Istanbul] in our group ( https://nodds.khas.edu.tr/ ), supported by TÜBITAK 1001 grants.

Research will focus on systems biology, power grid dynamics, city traffic dynamics, or learning dynamics from data. We use tools from dynamical systems theory, network theory (including flow networks and hypergraphs), and data science to address these problems.

Applicants should have strong computational and programming skills, with a good understanding of machine learning and optimization, which are central to all projects.

Multiple PhD Positions (TÜBITAK 1001 Projects)

We invite applications for up to three fully funded PhD positions in our research group ( https://nodds.khas.edu.tr/ ), to work on multiple project areas supported by TÜBITAK 1001 grants. The successful candidates will join a dynamic and interdisciplinary team focusing at the intersection of dynamical complex systems, machine learning, and computational/mathematical biology.

The positions are fully funded for 36 months through a TÜBITAK 1001 PhD scholarship complemented by Kadir Has University Life Support.

Requirements:
-       Strong background in programming and machine learning.
-       Demonstrated interest in at least one of the following: systems biology, powergrid dynamics, or learning dynamics from data.
-       Experience with graph neural networks, dynamical data analysis, or optimization is a strong plus.

Funding details
