Postdoc opportunity at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in Data Interaction for Remote Patient Monitoring and Heart Failure Care Pathway.

This position sits in the Department of Industrial Design, within the Computational Design Systems cluster, and is closely connected to clinical and MedTech partners including Catharina Hospital Eindhoven, Máxima Medisch Centrum, LUSCII, BeterDichtbij, AIKON, and Philips. The project focuses on design research, hybrid care, remote patient monitoring, and the development of a data interaction approach for cross-institutional healthcare delivery.

The postdoc will help design a unified heart failure care pathway, develop a system-independent care-process-driven data definition, and support implementation and evaluation in daily clinical practice. The role combines healthcare innovation, interaction design, service design, interoperability, and technical requirements translation, with a strong emphasis on real-world impact in hospital settings.

Dutch is explicitly required for effective work in the hospital environment.

Funding and conditions: full-time employment for 2 years, salary scale 10 (€4,241–€5,538 gross/month), plus year-end bonus, vacation pay, and several employment benefits.
