About this position

Postdoctoral opening in meta-science and Open Science policy at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), within the Department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences. The project focuses on how institutional policies shape researchers’ behavior, especially the effectiveness of data and code sharing policies in research-performing organizations.

The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team working across policy analysis, behavioral research, and stakeholder co-creation. Required background: a PhD in meta-science, science of science, STS, psychology, sociology, research methodology/statistics, philosophy of science, information science, or a related field. The post also asks for methodological expertise in one or more of policy analysis, survey research, quantitative analysis, scientometrics, and stakeholder co-creation, plus advanced R and Python skills, strong academic outputs, project management ability, and excellent English.

Funding and conditions: full-time appointment for 2 years with salary in Dutch university scale 10 (€4,241–€5,538 per month), plus year-end bonus, vacation pay, and several employment benefits. International candidates may also benefit from immigration support, the 30% tax facility, and moving expense compensation.

Application deadline: 15 May 2026. Apply online via the TU/e vacancy page; submit a cover letter, CV with publications and three references, and up to five best publications. Incomplete applications may not be considered.
