Postdoctoral Researcher in Molecular Immunology and Proteomics at Linköping University, Sweden.

This opportunity is in the Division of Molecular Medicine and Virology, in Alexa McIntyre’s research group, with a focus on RNA in adaptive immunity and autoimmune disease. The project centers on the cell biology and molecular regulation of hypoxia in cell types relevant to the rheumatoid arthritis synovium. Methods mentioned include molecular cloning, Gibson assembly, lentivirus generation and transduction, proximity labelling, mass spectrometry, microscopy, immunofluorescence imaging, confocal microscopy, quantitative automated image analysis, mammalian cell culture, co-culture systems, and programming in R.

Degree level: Postdoc. Applicants must already hold a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree by the time the university makes its employment decision. The post is aimed at experienced molecular and cellular biologists with a strong background in biological sciences, immunology, autoimmunity, proteomics, biochemistry, and related areas.

Funding/employment: Full-time temporary employment for two years, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of three years. Salary is individually set according to collective agreements; no stipend amount is stated.
